Crochet Cross Stitch

Some of my very favorite things to do in my spare time include cross stitching and also crocheting things such as dish clothes. as of right now I am working on cross stitching a beautiful picture of jesus. I would like to have done in time to enter into the fair but I wonder if I have enough time on my hands to finish it! We will see. once I finish my cross stitch project I will post a picture of it. hopefully soon!

This picture was taken at Old Faithful just after it had erupted. the two girls didnt know that the picture was being taken because Ammon shot it from far away! altough the temperatures were not too high we all had a craving for ice cream so grandpa bought everyone a nice big ice cream cone! what a great time!

OLD FAITHFUL GUYSER

Yellowstone! summer 08

Over this last summer my husband and I went on vacation to yellowstone with Susie, Stacey, their kids and also Ammon and Andi. We had a blast and we were able to see these two bears up close and personal. sigh... it was great but much too close for comfort! We have been going to yellowstone as a family nearly every summer for quite a long time! sometimes we rent a hotel for the duration of our stay but this particular time we decided to camp. needless to say we were pretty freaked out about it, especially because when we registered for our camp site we were told that just the week before there was an encounter with a bear! how terrifying is that?! anyway... we were all very careful to take proper precautions so that we wouldnt be one of those people that get eaten! In th end we all came out alive and had a great time! -maybe next time we will be so lucky to see a moose up close!-
